About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases , and schedules aligned with client and project goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality metrics and performance standards as stipulated in the project's Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Lead and coordinate testing resource assignments across multiple scrum teams, promoting collaboration and efficient task delivery.
- Establish automated QA processes to support all stages of development, ensuring compliance with quality standards like NIST 800-53 and federal security policies.
- Execute end-to-end manual and automated testing, validating system functionalities and ensuring high performance.
- Author, maintain, and execute automated functional, integration, performance, regression, API, and end-to-end tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, or equivalent frameworks.
- Analyze and troubleshoot discovered issues, documenting defects and working with developers to drive resolution.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure that quality remains a top priority.
- Review and validate documentation, such as O&M manuals, user stories, test strategies, and software releases for content accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline.
- 7+ years of QA/testing experience in a software development environment, including manual and automated testing
- Proven expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, JMeter , or other commercial or open-source frameworks
- Experience working in Agile and/or SAFe software environments.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps , Jenkins , or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Service Now
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FIPS 140-2)
- Familiarity with testing in cloud-based environments such as Azure or AWS (emphasis on FedRAMP environments)
- Secret Clearance is required.
