About the role
- Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Technical Editor Senior
- Create, maintain, and govern program documentation across Agile, technical, and compliance domains
- Ensure all documentation—including design artifacts, user guides, and compliance deliverables—is clear, accurate, and compliant with federal standards
- Support DevSecOps and Agile delivery
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in English, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: 2+ years' experience working in an Agile Scrum environment writing technical documentation for the software product, application, and product releases
- Proven experience producing documentation for Agile, cloud, or DevSecOps-based projects
- Strong understanding of technical concepts in software development, system architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience managing compliance documentation for FedRAMP, NIST, or FISMA-controlled environments
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with attention to accuracy, clarity, and style
- Proficiency with document management systems (SharePoint, Confluence, Git, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML for publishing technical documentation
- Experience creating content accessible to all audiences (Section 508 and WCAG compliance)
