About the role

  • Support the Army National Guard’s global IT services
  • Collaborate with server and application teams
  • Maintain system performance and conduct performance tuning
  • Develop and document installation and configuration procedures
  • Engineer and implement VDI environment and management software
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Continuously evaluate the system for improvement opportunities
  • Ensure security compliance (STIG) and configuration management of VDI system

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Cybersecurity skills
  • Knowledge of DISA STIG, VMware Horizon View, VMware VDI, VMware vSphere
  • Bachelor's degree in IT preferred
  • Active SECRET security clearance required
  • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II baseline certification
  • Experience with vRealize Operation Manager and vCenter Server appliance
  • Strong hands-on experience with Horizon View, Connection Servers
  • Experience with vSphere systems administration and support
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco UCS server infrastructure
