About the role

  • Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and BMC Remedy
  • Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Create and manage data migration processes from Remedy to ServiceNow
  • Create custom scripts to automate processes and meet business requirements
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks
  • Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality
  • Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
  • Contribute to IT-related technical processes reviews and continual process improvement
  • Grow junior talent through mentoring, partnership, and technical reviews

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
  • Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, especially ITSM
  • Familiarity with BMC Remedy and/or Helix development and administration, including its ITSM applications and data structures
  • Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services
  • Strong scripting skills with at least one language – preferably JavaScript
  • Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions
  • Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
  • Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Active ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator or ability to obtain within 30 days of start
