About the role

  • Deliver Generac’s “Customer First” promise and provide excellent customer care using product knowledge
  • Receive and document all customer interactions in real time; correspond via email, phone, text, or chat
  • Troubleshoot installation and technical issues and assist customers with issue resolution in the moment
  • Maintain contact center metrics including customer satisfaction, productivity, and adherence
  • Escalate complex inquiries or complaints to specialized teams appropriately
  • Maintain Outlook inbox, calendar, and tasks; flexible to work overtime; occasional travel; maintain product knowledge through training

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in a customer service role or technical troubleshooting
  • Bilingual French proficiency
  • Contact Center experience with troubleshooting (preferred)
  • Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls (preferred)
  • ERP experience using SAP or equivalent (preferred)
  • CRM experience using SAP or Salesforce (preferred)
  • Basic use of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Outlook, Calendar
  • Technical aptitude and ability to pass product and process testing following training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to de-escalate/conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 - 50 pounds occasionally
