About the role

  • Draft in Bentley MicroStation: One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
  • Prepare data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
  • Work with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group.
  • Support construction and operational activities related to design outputs. Field walkdowns may be required sometimes in radiological contaminated areas.
  • Ability to obtain a Q-clearance will be required.

Requirements

  • Education & Years of Experience – Associate's Degree in a technical field and 6+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma and 13+ years of relevant experience.
  • Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
  • Clearance – To be considered, you MUST be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
  • Must have experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems.
  • Must have experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A.
  • Must have experience drafting in Bentley MicroStation: One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings.
