About the role

  • Create, review, maintain, and update insurance policies and forms to ensure compliance with state legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business goals across various insurance products including Auto, Boat, Motorcycle, RV, and Umbrella.
  • Work closely with product managers and teams across Tech, Legal, and other departments.
  • Build strong working relationships and effectively partner with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Underwriting, Contracts, Compliance, or Claims is preferred.
  • Understanding of state insurance regulations, policy language and research techniques.
  • Draft and review policy documents and understand contractual language.
  • Strong research and writing skills, and an eagerness to be involved in a dynamic company.
  • Ability to quickly digest and understand business, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience problem solving.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, both legal and non-legal.
