About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR advisors who serve as subject matter experts
  • Assign cases and projects strategically, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular coaching feedback
  • Develop and implement consistent approaches to complex employee relations cases
  • Review complex employee relations cases, providing escalation support for issues involving attendance, conduct, and performance
  • Establish quality standards for case management and documentation
  • Ensure advisor guidance complies with labor laws and organizational policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is required
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years experience directly managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team of HR professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
