About the role

  • Implementing a Learning Management system for the independent agent channel.
  • Coordinating training prioritization efforts across IA Sales, IA Communications, CW Learning, State PM and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing agents within a designated area of responsibility using in person virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage agency performance.
  • Implements policies and procedures of the agency program.
  • Takes national strategic initiatives and translates them into training goals and objectives; GAINS commitment and holds sales/agents accountable for execution.
  • In collaboration with leadership and the product team, develops efficient and effective training plans utilized by sales and agencies.
  • Acts as subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated product, features, and tools.
  • Research to maintain a clear understanding of competitor offerings to influence agents to sell our product through our training offerings.
  • Conducts training of agency staff on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, services, and value proposition.
  • Monitors the performance of agents in relation to training goals, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Delivers effective communication; through training development and implementation you will assist agencies in developing local marketing plans and strategies to meet growth goals.
  • Use data analysis to prepare strategies to focus on the greatest opportunity within the designated area of responsibilities.
  • Communicates and coordinates business requirements for learning management systems across all key stakeholders, including insights from Independent Agents Research and coordinate any vendor strategies needed for implementation of Learning Management System for the IA channel.

Requirements

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.
  • Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic, and professional manner via phone.
  • Must be able to meet in person and virtual.
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years sales or relevant insurance experience preferred.
  • Prior training/learning management experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial).
