About the role
- Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of insurance sales and claims experience
- Develop, interpret, and present analysis and proposals to stakeholder groups
- Employ basic statistical techniques to model underwriting and pricing business practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or relevant quantitative field OR Bachelor’s degree in any field with prior experience
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Highly effective communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a changing team environment
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results
- Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions
- Effective time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in auto insurance, with experience in Commercial Auto as a plus
