About the role

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for partnerships and new markets, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Act as senior leadership, structuring teams, processes, targets and performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance.
  • Expand and improve performance of the indirect sales model (partners, integrators, resellers and strategic alliances).
  • Identify, recruit, enable and develop strategic partners.
  • Create partner programs, commercial policies, training, materials and incentive models.
  • Ensure predictability of pipeline, performance and channel governance.
  • Lead Gedanken's entry into new markets, segments and buyer personas.
  • Validate value propositions, commercial models and go-to-market approaches.
  • Build and lead a direct sales structure dedicated to these new markets.
  • Be hands-on in early sales cycles, helping define messaging, pricing and commercial playbooks.
  • Operate in a test-and-learn model, generating quick learnings to scale successful models.
  • Be accountable for achieving revenue targets for the areas under your management.
  • Monitor sales funnel, forecast, CAC, LTV and other relevant metrics.
  • Report results, risks and opportunities to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related fields.
  • Solid experience in commercial leadership, preferably in technology, SaaS, B2B or high-value services.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth, market entry and building sales channels.
  • Experience with partner-led sales (channel sales, alliances, partnerships).
  • Experience creating and scaling new sales initiatives or entering new markets.
  • Experience leading senior and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Highly results- and execution-oriented.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to build from scratch and simultaneously scale organizational structures.
  • Advanced English (important differential, especially for partnerships and expansion).
