About the role
- Delivering and executing project milestones, using systems-level product knowledge to coordinate engineering activity between designers, suppliers, and installers
- Work collaboratively with project managers to maintain project budgets and keep costs within budget
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide product information and coordinate change requests
- Identifying project risks and take ownership of technical solutions when needed
- Responsible for delivering engineering drawings and calculations
- Prepare technical documentation such as work instructions and test procedures
- Providing real-time technical support to technicians and customer engineers
- Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed-upon budgets and time frames
- Developing strategies for product improvement and provide candid feedback to internal design and manufacturing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Experience with troubleshooting control software and electronics
- Experience with power conversion and distribution systems
- Well-rounded system-level thinking
- Solar and/ or Battery Energy Storage experience
