About the role

  • The Risk and Reliability Engineering Technical Leader will work within the Core and Fuels team of GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) to integrate and develop Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) technologies, application methodologies, and supporting processes that meet business needs across the organization.
  • The Technical Leader role requires work planning and work oversight, technical problem solving and communication, collaboration with other teams within GVH business functions.
  • Lead and coordinate with project managers and commercial program managers to plan work, develop schedules, and provide technical support for customer deliverables.
  • Ensure PRA products provided by GVH are appropriate for use within the intended design and within governing regulatory requirements; meet customer commitments and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent GVH to customers, nuclear regulators and at industry meetings; implement initiatives to improve responsiveness of the organization to customer needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM technical field from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 6 years cumulative experience in executing Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) fundamental skills including: Data, Human Reliability Analysis, Accident analysis, Severe Accidents, Source Term assessments or related analytical skills
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
