About the role

  • Drive technical project activities
  • Lead customer kick-off meetings
  • Ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning
  • Participate in project risk reviews
  • Manage project budgets in terms of man-days allocated to the engineering tasks
  • Provide regular progress updates
  • Analyze customer specifications
  • Write project technical documentation
  • Validate technical solutions with customers
  • Specify software and IEDs
  • Manage technical execution planning
  • Ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards
  • Address technical deviations
  • Manage fault reports
  • Support site engineers remotely or on-site
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams for major site milestones
  • Provide project-specific training to customers
  • Support tendering and commercial teams
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional project execution

Requirements

  • B.E or BTech. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Over five years of control system-related experience
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA communication protocols
  • Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and database applications
  • Proficient in designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, cybersecurity, network equipment, IEC61850, Firewalls
  • Proven knowledge in GE Substation Automation Solutions
  • Ability to travel globally with short periods.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
