About the role
- Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site
- Leads site team and manages execution of the project scope of work
- Ensures schedule, quality and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline
- Acts as a best practice/quality resource
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems
- Takes new perspective on existing solutions
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in the same discipline
- Minimum of 15 years of advanced experience in the Substation construction, site installation and commissioning with understanding of electrical design
- Site Safety experience, OSHA
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
