About the role

  • Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site
  • Leads site team and manages execution of the project scope of work
  • Ensures schedule, quality and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline
  • Acts as a best practice/quality resource
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems
  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions
  • Contributes towards strategy and policy development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in the same discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of advanced experience in the Substation construction, site installation and commissioning with understanding of electrical design
  • Site Safety experience, OSHA
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
