About the role
- The Global Process Engineering Authority (GPEA) partners with the Global Process Engineering Leader (GPEL) to develop, deploy, and sustain global manufacturing standards that improve equipment reliability, availability, performance, and total cost for generator rotating component manufacturing.
- This role is accountable for driving equipment and process standardization across GE Vernova’s global manufacturing footprint, enabling consistent execution and predictable outcomes.
- The GPEA analyzes operational and reliability data to identify risk, implement proactive improvement actions, and drive continuous improvement in generator manufacturing processes.
- The position provides technical leadership to a global, dotted‑line network of factory technical leads across the supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality OR High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing asset reliability and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and quality systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
