About the role

  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
  • Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
  • Experience technically challenging assignments in the power generation industry focusing on areas such as Systems, Analysis, Design, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
  • Perform design and analysis of product lines in areas such as steam turbine, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
  • Develop and implement new design concepts and design improvements.
  • Work with the drafting team to create or update the drawings, and partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems that arise out of the complex manufacturing processes required to make these parts.

Requirements

  • Must have one to two semesters left prior to graduation and be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
  • Eligible majors: Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding) or 4.0 out of 5.0.
  • Must have the ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving with a high degree of curiosity.
  • Willingness and ability to learn from others.
  • Willingness to make and learn from mistakes.
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team player. One who strives for academic excellence and shows great initiative.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
