About the role
- Establish a process to check the condition of the units before the procurement process
- Produce status reports of the surveyed units
- Coordinate with Engineering team all the required Refurbishment scopes of work
- Produce the list of required parts for the refurbishment process
- Use GE tools to order parts and raise engineering queries
- Estimate the budget of the Refurbishment work
- Contact the refurbishment facility (internal or external to GEV) and agree with them on: Scope of work, Time schedule, Required Parts, Cost of the process
- Supervise the work during execution
- Obtain final report
- Coordinate the time schedule of refurbishment among several units that need to be refurbished
Requirements
- 7 years in Construction and commissioning of Aero Gas Turbines TMs and LMs, electrical and Controls or Mechanical
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university. OR High School Diploma with 7-10 years of experience in construction and commissioning of Aero Gas Turbines, TMs and LMs, electrical and controls or mechanical
- Ability to travel to work locations in Houston, Texas area as well as other locations as needed
