About the role
- Lead sales efforts within a defined geographic territory, driving growth across products, services, parts, and solutions while maintaining a strong commercial focus and strategic influence representing GE Vernova.
- Develop and execute long-term strategic account and communication plans, ensuring a unified “one face to the customer” approach across offerings and functions.
- Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, including complex, multi-offering transactions such as parts, repairs, outage services, upgrades, digital solutions, and service agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Engineering, Customer Fulfillment, and Marketing to enhance proposal strategies, outage planning, and customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate opportunity and project data in internal systems (e.g., NEX), and support demand forecasting and pacing activities.
- Provide leadership in proposal development, leveraging templates and tools to create compelling offers that align with customer needs and business goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor actions, and customer strategies to identify new opportunities and inform sales tactics.
- Apply sound judgment to solve complex problems, recommend best practices, and influence internal and external stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- May lead or contribute to functional teams or projects, guiding others and communicating complex concepts effectively to drive alignment and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of technical knowledge and experience within the Power Generation industry in either Commercial roles, Marketing, Sales, and/or Project Management of Power Generation Equipment.
- Other Eligibility Requirement: In this role you will travel up to 25% of the time
