About the role
- Account leadership role responsible for leading the Grid Solutions sales activities related to AC Solutions, FACTS, and HVDC
- Manage overall account relationships / strategy and deliver upon growth and other business objectives
- Develop and execute commercial strategy for sales of GSI including AC Solutions, FACTS, & HVDC
- Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for assigned customer(s)
- Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers
- Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities
- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing
- Conduct Operating Plan and Account reviews with region leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of direct sales, account or team leadership experience
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical / utility industry sales or product business team role
- Ability to travel approximately 25%-50%
