About the role

  • Integrating EHS, Environmental Protection, and Sustainability requirements across ITO phase
  • Providing strategic guidance during bidding and contracting
  • Supporting all bid phases and analyzing EHS & Sustainability policies and procedures
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with customer and business expectations
  • Identifying and evaluating EHS & Sustainability resources for projects
  • Promoting EHS ITO with Commercial, Customers, and Third Parties
  • Acting as the regional expert for Environmental protection, Sustainability, and Environmental & Social topics during execution
  • Supporting the resolution of complex EHS, environmental, or sustainability issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Sustainability, or a related technical discipline
  • Deep expertise in EHS management systems, Environmental protection and regulatory compliance, Sustainability and Environmental & Social frameworks
  • Extensive experience (typically 8–10+ years) in Senior EHS, environmental, or sustainability roles
  • Project‑based, EPC, or industrial environments
  • Proven experience across ITO (bidding, tendering, contracting) and OTR (execution)
  • Complex regulatory and customer environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at senior stakeholder and leadership level
  • Very good English (fluent, business-level) – mandatory
  • Very good German (fluent, business-level) – mandatory
  • Additional Central European languages are an advantage
