About the role
- participate as a Regional Service Team member responsible for providing the best service for our customers across the USA
- manage all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property
- support execution of retrofit projects including installation, power up, and commissioning of control solutions
- provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of a power equipment outage
- use in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy
- act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- explain information; develop skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within the field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Power generation, generator controls, and or turbine controls.
- advanced experience in Field Service and Technical Advising in the Power Generation Industry.
- ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- ability to travel for weeks at a time; 50% travel as required
