About the role
- Responsible for programming and testing of Protection relays
- Designing protection solutions for the Electric Utility & Industrial markets
- Work with project technical lead to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure engineering tasks are completed to a high standard of quality in alignment with project time scales
- Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers
- Manage technical execution planning and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards
- Address technical deviations and manage fault reports
Requirements
- BSc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in protection and electrical design engineering
- Strong knowledge of protection functions, configuration and testing, electrical scheme, and cubicle design
- Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies
- Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in GE Vernova Substation Automation Solutions (Micom, Multilin etc.)
- Ability to travel locally and globally, with a valid driver’s license
