About the role

  • Support GE Vernova’s fast-paced, global Central Communications team, with a focus on supporting the Financial Communications team’s execution including systems, operations, and project management rhythm
  • Support the creation and distribution of external communications, including leading the earnings press release, social media content, and media briefings for major financial events and programs
  • Support proactive communications strategies to announce GE Vernova’s strategic M&A activities by developing relevant communications strategies and content, working with the Director, Financial Communications
  • Contribute to message development that focuses on the purpose behind M&A, JVs and innovative business models that elevate GE Vernova above ‘product and solutions’ communications
  • Serve as both strategic and tactical internal communications support for organizational communications needs, including multi-functional employee meetings, for the Finance, Digital Technology, Business Development & Sourcing teams under the CFO
  • Provide oversight and strategic content support for Brand, social, web, and internal communications on financial topics as primary internal contact
  • Plan and maintain a calendar and project management system for financial communications to unlock more effective long-term planning and strategic operations
  • Support strategic event execution at financial events, e.g., GE Vernova Investor Update events and other major financial events
  • Monitor domestic and international financial news daily and provide a weekly insights summary relevant to GE Vernova
  • Execute communications projects in support of Central Communications’ strategic priorities, with a special focus on those led by Financial Communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or related field from an accredited university or college
  • 5-7 years’ experience; ideally in a multi-national company environment.
  • Genuine passion for energy and the energy transition
  • Strong written communications skills with the ability to communicate in a language that focuses on business benefits and outcomes.
  • Experience with media relations and internal communications
