About the role
- Manage solar power and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects commonly ranging in value from $10 million to $200 million US
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery
- Manage the execution of customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution
- Meet GE business expectations by managing safety, quality, short cycle schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks
- Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GE
- Collaborate with internal GE functions and business entities to manage product deliveries and commissioning activities
- Protect GE’s reputation and technology in the market place
- Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience (GE experience preferred)
- Fluent in the English language; oral and written, technical and commercial
- Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams
- Strong interpersonal and influence skills
