About the role
- Oversee the implementation and stabilization of payroll tax operations across North America
- Manage employment tax compliance activities, operational logistics, and high-volume case resolution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Legal, and Accounting to drive accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment tax regulations
- Manage and resolve employee inquiries with a high value on world class customer service
- Partner with internal tax, payroll, and compliance stakeholders to support employment tax audits and settlements
- Develop and implement best practices for the execution of employment tax compliance activities
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in employment tax compliance
- Significant prior professional work experience with demonstrated understanding employment tax processes, regulatory compliance and/or Operations/Service-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
- Fluent in English knowledge both verbal and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of employment tax regulations
- Experience working United States and Canada employment tax
- Proficiency in Executive Compensation payroll and tax reporting requirements
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in HR systems (ex. Workday) and technologies
