About the role
- Support research, development, marketing, promotion, and commercialization of pharmaceutical diagnostics
- Apply combined business and legal judgment to proposed deals
- Advise the business on advertising/promotional, commercial, compliance, regulatory, privacy, antitrust and other matters
- Support business development activities focusing on agreements for co-development, co-promotion, and/or licensing projects
- Draft, review, and negotiate strategic business agreements and transactions
- Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, license, sourcing and other agreements
- Provide legal and compliance advice and training
- Ensure consistent application of local commercial and Compliance policies and procedures throughout the PDx business
- Support the management of disputes, litigation, and similar matters involving PDx products
- Collaborate with regional Legal and Compliance colleagues and subject matters experts
Requirements
- JD and bar admission
- 8 years of relevant law experience at a large law firm or corporate legal department
- Previous exposure and relevant experience in the Pharma/Life Sciences sector
- Experience with US healthcare/pharma industry statutes and regulations including the food drug and cosmetic act, the anti-kickback statute and the false claims act
- Demonstrated experience providing legal advice in a highly regulated environment
