About the role
- Provide strategic leadership on deployment and support strategies for GE & Multi Vendor equipment serviced by the Biomed organization.
- Support zone leadership and field teams in driving Variable Cost Productivity projects focused on most cost-effective service options.
- Be a key contributor in the development of a comprehensive database of information using industry information from AAMI, ECRI, and FDA as well as specific OEM information.
- Improve and enhance the GE database to be the best in industry.
- Reinvigorate end of life database to include key decision points of part and service availability.
- Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
- Provide timely reports to improve cost reduction and efficiency in the field.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
- HTM/Biomed knowledge
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate cross functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Strong business acumen, including a strong financial background and analytical mindset.
- Profit and Loss (P&L) exposure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all level of the organization.
