About the role

  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on life-changing medical equipment for X-ray and Vascular modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in Jacksonville, FL.
  • Work onsite at customer locations and occasionally from home office.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution and proper follow-up to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols, to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured, including the ordering of parts.
  • Be available for 2nd Shift Schedule: Hours 12 noon – 9pm, Monday thru Friday, and available after-hours/on rotating on-call schedule including weekends.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree; OR military education equivalent to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; OR participant in the formal GE Healthcare Biomedical or Field Engineer Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch and squat, kneel and crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex and extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity.
