About the role
- Partner with the Managing Director and segment leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable venture investment theses
- Lead sourcing and origination efforts by building relationships with founders, co-investors, and innovation ecosystems
- Conduct market landscaping and technology scouting to identify emerging trends
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to GEHC Ventures’ investment committee
- Negotiate deal terms and execute transaction documents
- Support portfolio companies as a board observer or strategic advisor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in venture capital, corporate venture, business development, investment banking, growth equity, or strategy consulting, with at least 5 years focused on transactions or investments
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Experience in healthcare, medtech, diagnostics, digital health, or related sectors preferred
