About the role
- Responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives
- Advanced system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair on OEM non-GE designated equipment
- Daily interface with doctors and technicians on equipment status issues
- Ensure satisfaction to primary customers
- Maintain daily communications with customers for resolution and follow-up
- Maintain tools and test equipment properly
- Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to account team
- Responsible for Warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contract cost control
- Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced troubleshooting and technical fixes
- Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard.
Requirements
- Qualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent
- Technical analytical skills
- Solid Field Services experience in OEM trained Ultrasound systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of a specific modality or multi-modalities
- Proficient in English
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction
- High work standards and quality

- Plan and organize work effectively.
