About the role
- Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies.
- Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
- Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of suppliers for FPGA's and Semiconductors.
- Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement.
- Manage claims.
- Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
- This may also include purchasing activities.
- Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
- Serve as a best practice/quality resource.
- Contribute towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing or Commodity Management)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
