- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
- Support efforts focused on product durability, validation, and entry into service preparations.
- Contribute towards strategy and policy development in their area of responsibility.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (Desired).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in turbomachinery or rotating parts design experience (Desired).
- Strong HPT/HPC rotor design experience (Desired).
- MRB certification experience (Desired).
- Experience using structured problem solving techniques (Desired).
- Ability to leverage FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary LEAN operating model (Desired).
