About the role

  • Drive Product Quality Engineering (PQE) activities for assigned suppliers within the Controls and Accessories commodity
  • Own supplier results and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards
  • Supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence
  • Production approval ownership for hardware within the Controls and Accessories Organization including components such as electronics, mechanicals, fluid systems, air systems, valves, actuators, etc.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (quality) experience + minimum of 3 years (quality) experience)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
