About the role
- Provide programmatic planning and coordination throughout the planning and execution of testing.
- Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure alignment of testing plans and resource needs.
- Consolidate and validate project metrics and KPIs.
- Establish cross-program Strategic Workforce Plans (SWP) for PV testing efforts.
- Champion the development of standard work to drive consistency in planning and resourcing of testing activities.
- Review product and system requirements for management of PV assets.
- Contribute to capability improvement proposals and roadmaps.
- Coordinate resources and schedules across sites and teams to meet test requirements.
- Develop and manage program schedules and baselines to meet business objectives.
- Support risk and opportunity management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college, OR significant work experience in an aerospace environment relevant to the job description.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design, systems integration, test engineering, program management, or related technical roles.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- U.S. Citizenship required for US Government Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel out of state a minimum of 15% annually.
- Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (desired).
- PMI or CAPM certification (or progress toward certification).
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
