About the role
- Provide technical advice and support to customer teams for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of in-service engines.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact, understand operational needs, propose rapid and effective solutions, and contribute to long-term relationships.
- Monitor in-service reliability and performance (major events, engine removals, delays, cancellations) and influence airline stakeholders to implement improvement actions.
- Contribute to maintenance planning to ensure engine fleet stability and availability, and assess the effectiveness of implemented actions.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to identify proactive levers for optimizing reliability and performance.
- Use technical data to perform analyses, monitor fleet trends, and produce clear, regular reports for the customer and internal GE Aerospace teams.
- Propose preventive maintenance actions based on engine performance analyses.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (or significant experience in a relevant field)
- Experience in airline operations, maintenance planning, engineering, aircraft propulsion, or a similar area
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft engines or turbomachinery
- Experience using software or data analysis tools to make technical decisions and formulate recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build trust at all levels with both the customer and internal teams
- Fluent French and good technical English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently on the customer site while remaining connected with GE Aerospace teams remotely
- Availability to travel regularly between Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle
