About the role
- Provide executive-level leadership for the global ATMRO Controllership function
- Direct management of a global team of eight senior leaders
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for both US GAAP and statutory requirements across the ATMRO network
- Serve as the senior expert for interpreting and applying US GAAP
- Drive efficient, routine, and compliant close processes
- Lead efforts to reduce monthly close cycle time by 50% over the next two years
- Provide strategic controllership support to ATMRO finance, operations, and Time & Materials commercial teams
- Lead the Controllership aspects of the ongoing ERP transformation journey across the ATMRO shops
- Maintain a close working relationship with the ATMRO CFO, finance team, and other senior leaders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address complex accounting challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with progressing leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Expertise in analyzing and resolving complex financial and operational challenges
- Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable leading through uncertainty and driving results in dynamic environments
- CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with lean operating concepts and application to Controllership and operational processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale programs/projects and influence outcomes in a matrixed organization
