About the role

  • The Lead Program Management Specialist will lead the cross-functional team to deliver on United States Air Force (USAF) PBL contract deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and the established business case.
  • Perform as interface between the customer and the internal business team, managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, negotiate changes, variations, solutions to issues and comply with agreed Terms & Conditions of the contract.
  • Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to the contract.
  • Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts.
  • Function as liaison between internal organizations and customers for assigned contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of Program/Project Management experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Program/Project Management experience
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data sets and resolve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
