About the role
- Lead bids, proposals, product concepts, and initial design solutions for new electronic products
- Drive strategic technology planning for the Platform Hardware organization
- Develop multi-generational product plans focusing on electronic design initiatives
- Implement concept designs on Independent Research and Development (IRAD) projects
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in new business pursuits with aerospace customers
- Ensure effective project startup, focusing on initial implementation of product or design concepts
- Demonstrate superior technical expertise, assisting in hands-on design problem-solving and mentoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Electronics Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 8-10 years of design experience in electronic design
- Proven experience in electronic product development
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
- Excellent organizational, written, and presentation skills
- Lean mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Eligibility: Use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions
