About the role
- Part of growth into original digital content for Sinclair, Inc., shaping visual identity of multi-platform brands
- Work closely with Associate Creative Director and VP of Social Strategy & Digital Content to bring visually driven ideas to life
- Collaborate to design assets across platforms including social, video, podcasts, and editorial
- Develop static and motion graphics for digital formats (YouTube thumbnails, IG carousels, Reels, promos)
- Design clean, reusable toolkits and templates with organized, layered files for editors and producers to update
- Translate brand identities into consistent visuals tailored to each channel and audience
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Participate in brainstorming from concept through execution and maintain brand consistency across projects
- Create content across genres from sports to true crime to pop culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a digital design role, preferably in media, entertainment, or agency settings
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and social media work (please include portfolio with application)
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Proficiency with Canva and familiarity with tools like Figma, Capsule, or Slate
- Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent typography, layout, and color skills with obsessive attention to detail
- Motion design or basic video editing skills are a plus
