About the role
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Requirements
- Preferred: PhD in Fire Science Administration or PhD in Leadership WITH 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
- Minimum: Master’s in Fire Science Administration or Master’s in Fire and Emergency Management or a Master’s in a field of Fire Science or Master’s in Leadership WITH 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credits in Fire Science AND has 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
