About the role

  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes

Requirements

  • Preferred: PhD in Fire Science Administration or PhD in Leadership WITH 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
  • Minimum: Master’s in Fire Science Administration or Master’s in Fire and Emergency Management or a Master’s in a field of Fire Science or Master’s in Leadership WITH 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
  • Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credits in Fire Science AND has 3 years of experience in an active firefighting leadership role within a fire department
