About the role
- Own and oversee all aspects of the General Ledger accounting
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Lead the technical accounting research function
- Serve as the primary in-house expert on complex accounting matters
- Coordinate all aspects of the annual audit and quarterly reviews
- Partner effectively with critical internal departments and external partners
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the accounting function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- CPA certification is mandatory
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 3 years in a leadership/management role
- Technical expertise in US GAAP and IFRS
- Proven ability to lead and manage all phases of monthly and quarterly close cycles
- Significant experience designing, documenting, and operating SOX business process controls
- Proven track record managing complex SEC/PCAOB-level audits
