About the role

  • Be present where the work happens
  • Spend significant time on-site with customers across North America
  • Identify operational challenges and improvement opportunities firsthand
  • Build relationships with plant managers, process engineers, and project leaders
  • Engage early, before projects are formally defined or tendered
  • Build and close a strong pipeline
  • Develop and manage a pipeline across: Engineering studies Brownfield upgrades Modular plant and capital solutions
  • Own a personal revenue target and deliver against it
  • Drive complex sales cycles involving technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM discipline
  • Turn operational challenges into projects
  • Translate plant issues into scoped, costed solutions
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop executable proposals
  • Lead opportunities from concept through negotiation to contract award
  • Drive adoption of engineered & modular solutions
  • Position modular and capital equipment solutions within customer engagements
  • Identify opportunities for plant expansions, upgrades, and retrofits
  • Build long-term relationships that support repeat and follow-on business
  • Provide market feedback to support product and commercial strategy
  • Lead commercial strategy on opportunities
  • Qualify deals based on strategic fit, risk, and margin potential
  • Define win strategies early in the pursuit process
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations
  • Contribute to improving sales tools, messaging, and win rates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or related field
  • 8–10+ years of experience across technical and commercial roles in: Engineering consulting EPC/EPCM Capital equipment or mining/mineral processing
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience developing business before formal RFP/tender stage
  • Background in plant upgrades, process improvements, or engineering studies
  • Experience selling or supporting capital equipment / modular solutions
  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America, and internationally as required.
