About the role

  • Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have insights” content for Retail CSCOs
  • Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership
  • Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes of a client’s barriers or overall needs
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts
  • Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts in Retail supply chains
  • Create and deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events
  • Provide sales support serving as voice of Retail CSCOs to help Insights teams create relevant content

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
  • Retail Supply Chain Expertise: Deep understanding across core retail supply chain domains, including demand forecasting and replenishment, inventory strategy and in‑stock performance, distribution and fulfillment operations, and omnichannel network design
  • End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy: Experience defining and executing end‑to‑end retail supply chain strategies that align merchandising goals, inventory and availability targets, fulfillment and distribution networks, and digital capabilities
  • AI and Digital Transformation: Experience leading or advising AI‑enabled and digital transformation initiatives within a retail supply chain environment
