About the role

  • Build, coach, and lead engineering and project management teams responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery and support of enterprise systems underpinning Gartner’s HR business processes.
  • Ensure that systems are designed and implemented in such a way that allows for agility and rapid growth to support Gartner’s dynamic business.
  • Ensure that operational support of these systems meets service level agreements in an environment where talent acquisition, retention & development are considered business critical activities.
  • Partner closely with HRIS and key IT partners to ensure enterprise technology capabilities are in place, operating reliably, and aligned to Gartner’s business needs leveraging shared platforms and best practices.
  • Model effective leadership through strong business acumen and problem‑solving discipline.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in leading technology delivery teams in support of complex business functions.
  • Strong expertise across core HR technology platforms, including HCM, Learning, Talent, and People Analytics, with required experience in Workday and preferred exposure to Cornerstone, Beamery, and Power BI.
  • Experience defining and driving technology strategy in partnership with business and IT leaders, supported by globally distributed Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience operating in an IT delivery model that leverages centers of expertise, requiring strong cross-team collaboration and coordination.
  • Highly collaborative leader who leads by example, rolls up their sleeves, and operates with a no-limits mindset.
