About the role
- Partner tightly across teams with many stakeholders to simplify complex concepts and constraints into user friendly copy
- Own and evolve the processes surrounding copy development including translation, approval processes, and implementation
- Own and evolve our content management system and ensure it is structured scalably
- Partner with our marketing and brand stakeholders to manifest Garner’s voice and tone in app-appropriate ways
- Drive overall oversight and iteration of our in app copy including consistency audits, user testing, and improvements independent of other project work
Requirements
- A superpower in clear and efficient writing
- Proven experience overseeing the systems and processes and enable excellent UX copy at scale (Experience with Contentful is a bonus)
- A strong ownership mindset and drive to proactively push for improvements
- A PhD in cat herding (or equivalent experience 🙂) that enables you to collaborate effectively, listen to feedback and bring people along, and drive decisions with a group of opinionated stakeholders
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies, including an informed point of view on how to integrate AI into our workflows
- Ability to reliably and independently handle multiple projects across teams simultaneously
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
