About the role

  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies for the German market
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities through targeted acquisition of wholesale customers (e.g., network operators, carriers)
  • Advise on and market technical upstream/wholesale products from the Gamma SIP portfolio
  • Source and participate in tenders/RFPs
  • Achieve individually agreed sales targets
  • Manage wholesale customers such as network operators and international carriers
  • Conduct customer meetings, trade shows, presentations and contract negotiations in the field
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Participate in marketing activities focused on target markets
  • Monitor the market, perform competitor analysis and identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Engineering/Technical, Product Management, Procurement and Legal to deliver customer-specific solutions

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, ideally in B2B or telecommunications (knowledge of network technologies, products and the competitive landscape)
  • Willingness to travel (flexibility for field and customer appointments across Germany) and a high degree of self-motivation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative, equal-footing partnerships
  • Structured working style and strong closing skills
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good written and spoken English
