About the role
- Handles sourcing requirements for materials and services.
- Assists with development and execution of strategic category plans.
- Leads supplier management and client relationship management.
- Ensures policy compliance and process efficiencies.
- Responsible for negotiations, market intelligence, creation of contracts.
- Supports technical discussions with suppliers related to tooling and FAT.
- Coordinates with internal teams and suppliers to provide visibility.
- Analyzes market data to facilitate data analytics for spend portfolio.
- Conducts request for quotes, negotiates, and executes contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- 5–8+ years of experience in engineering, sourcing, procurement.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP, Excel, including Power Query and data modeling.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Experience working with Arena or any other PLM.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership.
