About the role
- reporting to the U.S Head of IT and will be part of the U.S Regional IT Team
- develop a deep understanding of the organizational, business, financial, operational, and commercial priorities to deliver business value through reliable, effective, and efficient data and analytics solutions
- responsible for the overall data & analytics solutions “Design, Deploy and Sustain” activities across Galderma, ensuring scalability, performance, reusability, compliance, and consistency, leveraging best practices in data ingestion, data modeling, integration, data science and front-end reporting.
- Provide support and consultancy to central and regional project teams, IT Service Owners, Managed Services, and Application Support teams
- Make sure solutions are designed to maximize both global and business ROI
- Act as the main point of contact for project, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams
- Conduct design reviews for new solutions and major changes to existing solutions
- Identify and review gaps in capability
- Govern tools and functionalities roadmap, and ensure that the front-end tools are correctly positioned
- Partner with the Business Unit, global and functional business stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of key business concerns requiring advanced analytics
- Lead, organize and coordinate teams for the delivery of effective and low-cost, application sustain and monitoring services
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years plus experience managing onshore and offshore teams
- 10-plus years work experience in managing data-related activities within a Commercial organization
- Minimum 5 years plus in Business Intelligences Reporting or/and Visualization tools
- Strong experience with design, development, and deployment of multiple complex or large-scale operational analytics capabilities.
- Fluent in Azure cloud data architecture, orchestration, and data integration patterns, storage and processing (Datalake, Snowflake)
- Experience with the implementation of self-service analytic solutions such as Powerbi, or BOBJ (Business Objects) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with DevOps best practices and automation of documentation, testing, build, deployment, configuration, and monitoring
- Good understanding of azure cloud PaaS services like security, monitoring, logging, scaling, etc.
- Familiar with data frameworks such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse
- Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models.
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent with a specialization in IT or information systems
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Scrum master certification is a plus.
