About the role
- Own and evolve our patient-facing experience
- Design and ship end-to-end patient journeys, from onboarding through ongoing care
- Build zero-to-one patient education and decision-support experiences
- Design AI-powered concierge and chat experiences that feel trustworthy, empathetic, and human
- Improve clarity and usability around insurance and benefits flows
- Continuously raise the bar on trust, confidence, and conversion for DTC patients
- Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers as a full product owner, not just a delivery designer
- Partner with other product pods on employer- and clinic-facing tools as needed
- Use research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform design decisions and validate solutions
- Use AI tools and workflows to increase velocity and impact
- Balance speed with quality, knowing when to go deep and when to ship and learn
- Advocate for strong design craft while staying pragmatic and outcome-oriented
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer building user-facing software products
- Experience leveraging AI in the design process, and comfortability with AI tools
- Experience shipping large features or owning substantial product surface areas
- Strong end-to-end product design skills (discovery → execution → iteration)
- Hands-on experience leading or conducting user research
- Excellent taste and a passion for consumer-grade design quality.
- Experience in health tech or regulated consumer products (Nice-to-Have)
- Frontend engineering experience or comfort building prototypes / agents (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior experience designing AI-driven or conversational interfaces (Nice-to-Have)
